About Buccos

Carmen Bucco the founder had spent many years in the foster care system. At times would run away when things got tough. A few times went back to his mother. Wound up getting caught up in the cocaine drug scene. Many times he didn’t think his life was worth living. He would spend time on the streets fending for himself and just surviving. The drugs and wildlife almost took his life because of the drugs and alcohol.He felt the system had failed him, promising to help him financially and give him a way to go to college. This was not fact as soon as he got tired of the promises he ventured out on his own. Not knowing what he was going to do where he was going to sleep he found a boarding house so he would live there for a couple of years.

In this time one day he got so high on cocaine and vodka, remembering he would close his eyes and see just all white. Getting nervous he got up and his friends found him 3 days later on his porch step. He didn’t remember anything. At this point he decided he would either become a statistic or a part of society. This is when his friends picked him up and stood strong by him. Finding a job and starting to make his mark in the world. Today he owns his own growing men’s wear company tried out several times for Shows such as Shark Tank and The Profit. Not getting on has not stopped him from moving forward and not giving up. He now has 2 locations and a men’s mobile store. This is what made him decide to start Bucco’s Rising Stars Foundation. Our Mission:

Through its partnerships with public and private organizations and programs, BRSF endeavors to help under served youth and those exiting foster care to prepare for self sufficiency .
BRSF is committed to the intellectual development and economic empowerment of youth. BRSF will act as a catalyst to help provide individualized services and develop a mentoring relationship to help each individual to address their educational , financial and personal development needs.
